If Ms. Chien's absences were due to health issues, family emergencies, and so on, I would be okay with her being absent, but when she is constantly taking holidays for leisure, that is not okay.

What do you appreciate most about the teacher’s approach to teaching and engaging with your child?

There is really nothing to appreciate about Ms. Chien because she is always absent for long periods of time. This was an issue last year. She would be absent for a week or two, and my child would tell me that she went on trips during those times.

What improvements, if any, would you suggest to enhance your child’s learning experience in this class?

You need to make sure you take your trips during the appropriate time, which is during the holidays that school has.

Is there anything specific about the teacher’s approach that has made a positive and/or negative impact on your child’s development or academic progress?

To be honest, the only thing that I am grateful for is when Mr. Mike substitutes for my child's class. My child says that they learn new math stuff when he is around.
