The best part about Belmont High School is definitely the academics. There are tons of AP classes and academic clubs available, so you feel ready for college and the outside world by the time you graduate. But the biggest issue is also tied to academics, and that's the super toxic culture around grades. Everyone is always comparing themselves to each other and trying to one-up everyone else, which makes the whole environment way too stressful for the average student. Also, they really need to do something about the school lunch. It is honestly so bad right now—the hamburgers taste like stale cardboard and the cheese sandwiches are barely edible. Overall, Belmont is a really good school academically, but the intense stress and pressure definitely ruin the whole high school experience.
