While Laurus International School of Science offers an excellent, forward-thinking academic curriculum for families prioritizing STEM, the overall daily student experience feels overshadowed by corporate management styles. The severe lack of outdoor play spaces leaves energetic children feeling restless, and the high teacher turnover rate suggests internal structural instability. Parents are given very little say in school policies, and communications can feel rigid. If the administration focuses less on marketing and more on supporting their faculty and improving physical infrastructure, this school could truly live up to its high potential. Currently, it is a mixed experience.

What do you appreciate most about the school’s approach to supporting your child’s learning and development?

We deeply appreciate the school's rigorous commitment to a STEM-focused curriculum and the integration of the Cambridge framework. The early introduction to advanced science concepts, practical experiments, and technical thinking provides a strong academic foundation that is rare to find in other local schools. The curriculum keeps the children academically challenged and engaged with modern technology.

What improvements, if any, would you suggest to make the school experience better for students and parents?

First, the school desperately needs to address physical facility limitations, specifically by providing larger indoor or outdoor recreational spaces so children can expend their energy. Second, management must prioritize staff retention; high teacher turnover significantly disrupts classroom continuity and hurts student morale. Lastly, standardizing communication protocols across all campuses and offering multilingual support would greatly reduce the burden on non-native English-speaking families.

Can you share an example of how the school has positively and/or negatively impacted your child’s academic or personal growth?

Academically, the impact has been very positive; my child has developed an impressive grasp of scientific principles and logical thinking well ahead of their peers. However, the personal and social growth has been negatively impacted by the continuous change in teaching staff. Losing favorite teachers mid-year has caused emotional distress, confusion, and a lack of stable behavioral guidance in the classroom.
