If you are thinking of working here, it is a great place to just get into the country but find another position once you get here. You are disposable to them and learning environment is a joke.

To be honest, there is very little I appreciate about this the board. The owner, Takahiro Sato, is just a businessman who just wants money. Anytime the former head of school wanted to promote students in their learning, he would step in and pretends he knows what he know what education is.
What areas of improvement, if any, do you believe leadership/board member'(s) should focus on to strengthen the school’s success?
The owner needs to back off, he has no say in education. Furthermore, just because you own the school it does not make it okay for your child to walk around with a production team to make YouTube videos. It impedes in the teachers work and other students' learning.
Can you share an example of how leadership/board member'(s) has positively impacted the school community or contributed to the school’s overall development?
Not really a positive work place. The owner will keep you to avoid a lawsuit for firing someone or letting them go, which happened during the school's first year, but they will demote you and give you nothing to do. They call this madogiwa-zoku in Japan.
