For example, when we were working on lesson planning, she offered valuable insights and practical strategies that helped strengthen my instruction and supported student learning. When I first started at Shadow Hills in February, I felt completely lost. Ms. Peterson quickly stepped in, helping me get oriented with the school’s systems, introducing me to colleagues, and sharing resources for teaching 7th- and 8th-grade math. Her collaboration and guidance made my transition much smoother and allowed me to finish the year successfully with my students.
