Highland Park High has a great academic program, but please make sure you take care of the kids mental and emotional health too.

Highland Park High School is a good school for academic purposes and extracurricular activities. However, this can put a lot of stress on students, like my son. There is not much in regards to students who are overwhelmed and overworked from the high pressure the school puts on their students.
What improvements, if any, would you suggest to make the school experience better for students and parents?
Academics are important, but you need to make sure that they are not overwhelmed and stressed all the time. It is not healthy!
Can you share an example of how the school has positively and/or negatively impacted your child’s academic or personal growth?
They started to try harder in their work but always felt frustrated when they did not understand certain concepts.
