I highly recommend reaching out to Brandon Rogers, her former principal and now the principal at American International School in Kuwait. He will tell you that he requested to fire her before my arrival. Even the current head of school, Gerald Redd, wanted to fire her because her email to the HR manager was extremely rude. Brandon Rogers knows about this email situation. If you can reach him, ask him about it. Still, the only reason they didn't was that she was one of the only two or three teachers who stayed after the exodus of five third-grade teachers leaving. Heck, I wanted to fire her because she was challenging to work with; she complained about making lesson plans and classroom visits from an Assistant Principal. It shows that she has not taught in a real school back in America, which random visits are required. Regarding her employment in China, I spoke with her former Head of School and PYP Coordinator. Let's say the PYP Coordinator apologized for my situation, and they were thrilled to see her leave because they were pulling teeth when they needed her to do something without her complaining and throwing a tantrum like a 2-year-old. Do not ask the current assistant principal at the elementary school, Courtney Donovan. They are close friends, and anything she says will be biased.

What do you appreciate most about this teacher’s approach to teaching and supporting students?

There is nothing to appreciate about this teacher. Abigail is a very difficult individual to work with. She constantly complains about her students, her financial problems, and is extremely unable to comply with basic teaching requirements. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿.

What areas of growth do you believe this teacher could focus on to enhance their effectiveness and impact?

She needs to stop complaining about her job understand that she needs to grow as an individual and as a teacher.

Can you share an example of how this teacher positively or negatively impacted student learning and/or the school environment?

Many parents complained about Abigail's teaching method, especially with math. She constantly shows videos to her students instead of teaching the concept; the video has become the teacher, basically. Students are afraid of her to the point that even the leadership members or other teachers do not put their children in her class.
